ifakta.co, Nganjuk – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kabupaten Nganjuk akhirnya memperlebar ruas jalan Desa Cepoko, Kecamatan Berbek, Nganjuk, Jawa Timur.

Menurut Staf Bidang Perencanaan Teknis PUPR Nganjuk, Supriadi, pelebaran ini sebagai langkah pencegahan untuk menanggulangi banjir di desa ini.

“Jika untuk langkah penanggulangan banjir di desa Cepoko perlu adanya pelebaran jalan dan pembangunan jembatan dengan konstruksi baru yang lebih baik,” kata Supriadi kepada ifakta.co, Senin 30 Desember 2019.

Nantinya kata dia selama pembangunan berlangsung akan dibuat jembatan altrernatif agar akses jalan tidak terhenti. Karena jembatan itu satu-satunya penghubung antar desa di wilayah itu.

Kepala Desa Cepoko Kholik Iskandar berharap, agar pemerintah Kabupaten Nganjuk benar – benar serius dan merealisasikan perencanaan yang diajukan oleh Dinas PUPR.

“Semoga pengerjaan pembangunan jembatan dapat diwujudkan pada tahun anggaran 2020 nanti, jadi saat musim hujan di tahun mendatang desa Cepoko tak lagi mengalami musibah banjir lagi,” kata Kholik kepada ifakta.co dilokasi.

Sementara itu, salah satu warga Cekopo Agus (40) juga berharap kepada Pemkab Nganjuk untuk merealisasikan pengerjaan ini.

Menurut Agus, saat musim penghujan desa Cekopo selalu diterjang banjir lumpur hingga semata kaki. Sehingga aktivitas warga sangat terganggu.

“Jangan janji-janji PHP (pemberi harapan palsu) saja. Karena kami juga ikut membayar pajak untuk pembangunan jalan,” tegasnya. (May)
