Peringati HWN, Ki Akbar Menjadi Eksibisi Dalam Festival Dalang Muda 2019 di Jatim

iFAKTA.CO, NGANJUK – Dalang Milenial asal Nganjuk Ki RM Akbar Syah Alam (Ki Akbar) didaulat sebagai bintang tamu (eksibisi) Grand Opening Festival Dalang Muda 2019 pada peringatan Hari Wayang Nasional yang digelar oleh Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Disbudpar) Jawa Timur yang diselenggarakan di Pendapa UPT Taman Budaya Jawa Timur(TBJT) pada Kamis- Sabtu tanggal 7-9 November 2019.

Ki Akbar mendapat penghormatan tersebut karena Ki Akbar telah menjuarai Festival Dalang Muda tingkat Nasional di tahun 2018 lalu.

Ajang bergengsi yang diikuti 17 Kabupaten / Kota tersebut turut di undang pula Gubernur Jawa Timur yang kehadirannya di wakili oleh Sekda Jatim Heru Tjahjono dan Kepala UPT Taman Budaya Jatim Sukatno.

Pada malam pembukaan itu  Ki Akbar Syah Alam mengambil lakon “Jago Pinilih“. Ia memilih  sosok werkudara  sebagai tokoh tauladan paling kuat dan jago berkelahi diantara ke 5 tokoh pandawa lainnya.

Di balik tema yang diangkat oleh Ki RM Akbar terselip harapan agar lakon tersebut dapat menjadi motivator bagi para dalang muda lainnya untuk terus berkarya dan berlatih dan ke 17 peserta dalang muda itu nantinya akan mengikuti jejak Ki Akbar.

“Saya berharap agar nantinya muncul dalang- dalang muda lainnya di Jawa Timur, sehingga mengangkat seni wayang ke permukaan sebagai tontonan anak muda dan merangsang minat generasi milenial untuk mengenal budaya asli bangsa kita. Kemudian melestarikannya dengan cara terlibat langsung di dalamnya misalnya menjadi dalang seperti saya,” ujar Ki Akbar.

Hal senada juga dikatakan Kepala Seksi Penyajian Seni Budaya UPT Taman Budaya Jatim, Kartika Widyawati. Menurut Kartika, Festival ini sengaja digelar sebagai wadah bagi para dalang muda untuk mengembangkan bakat dan mintanya.

“Festival ini sengaja kami gelar sebagai wadah para dalang muda guna mengembangkan bakat dan minatnya di bidang pewayangan, sehingga mereka bisa cepat di kenal dan bisa sebagai ajang untuk mengukir prestasi serta mengembangkan potensi melalui kompetisi yang sehat,” kata Kartika saat ditemui iFAKTA.CO, Minggu (9/11/2019).
